Spring Twisted Easel Card – Joanna Sheen Blog Challenge

Now for the blog challenge

I thought i`d make a Twisted Easel as it`s something I have never made

For March`s Joanna Sheen blog challenge piece

So here is my Spring / Easter piece

 a Twisted Easel Card

I have used stardream card for the base of the card in green and also used lilac stardream to mat

the topper – this brings in the colours from the image.

The inside of the card uses the matching backing paper which has been distressed around the edges

with some Tim Holtz  peeled paint distress stain.

The little stopper is the corner image on the backing paper which has been placed &

the corner edges of the topper have been cut off to allow the twisted easel part

to lay nicely on the topper.

Glossy Accents have been used to highlight the matt paper on the flowers

and make the petals stand out Leaving some of the petals blank

just adds to the dimension of the piece

The images come from the

New `from the heart of the Garden ` cd

Which I have to say is my all time ever favourite cd

& i`m not just saying that, I adore it as i`m sure you will

I hope you have enjoyed this  challenge piece as I really enjoyed making it

See you next month for another challenge

Thanks for stopping by & please subscribe to receive next month post as

& when it`s posted ~ Suzanne x

  1. What a beautiful card! As soon as I saw it I thought of my grandma, she would love this as she always plants lots of blue pansies in her garden. Really nicely finished, thanks for sharing xx
