Lofty Goes To London

Well this will be my last post for a week on the blog as tomorrow we are off on hols – it`s only Skegness but we wanted a beach and not to far and going down South is a 5 hour journey this is 3hrs so looking forward to that

We have never been to this area although lived about an hour away years ago – so it will be nice to explore

We are all like big kids at the moment and so ready for a holiday as we missed our one in February – I have had a week of feeling bit strange since my hospital appointment earlier this week and some hassles from that and this holiday will just help so much

Sorry for the lack of posting on my side of the blog but will get back to it when back and time allows – but did enjoy starting the

Linda`s Promarker section – click here if you missed that

The card uses the Lofty stamp designed by Andy Carolan – a very talented young man and bought to us by Joanna Sheen

At first I was stuck as to what route to go down faced with just the stamp and no coloured packaging but got the flag backing paper from the Cardmarkers cd – and set about making the backing using the crown and black embossing powder just to give a suttle look

I googled to get the correct colours for the London Lofty and used Lyras and gold pentouch and finished with some cosmic twinkles

The roses were stamped and embossed in halo gold on Mars stardream card

A fun card which I really enjoyed making

Just a close up – didn`t have mypromarkers when I did this else i`m sure he would have been coloured by them

Thanks for looking in today and see you soon
