Messy Rabbit At Christmas Time

This sample was the one that inspired the Christmas card I did using the lovely winter scene from the Pamela West Cd – it`s one of those pieces of card you buy and think afterwards that`s a bit bright and then it sits in the cupboard until now

I wanted some card of carrot colour to add the messy rabbit carrot tree stamp to – then I brushed then sealed it with cosmic shimmer powder for a delicate look

The setting if just 2 sheets of the messy rabbit backing paper pad – but have layered it up to look more – the fire place was cut out and mounted onto a black piece of card and the the fire surround was mounted up with foam tape and then the stockings and presents were decoupaged too

The messy rabbit  was coloured in by lyra aquacolours and decoupaged up – see workshop here for tips on how to cut the whiskers out – tip 7 , 8 & 9

The base card is cut from a cream A3 sheet – and has an organza bow and mini baubles added too

Thanks for sharing in today`s card – Suzanne
