Embossed Effect Card Using the Pamela West Cd & Flora Doodles

Today`s card – is a quick one but one I did to show off the embossed swirls backing papers that are on the Pamela West cd– I love the embossed effects you see on many cards these days but I don`t always what to get my wizard out and the folders and then inks or chalks so thought this was a fun idea

It teamed with Lace Ribbon & Flora Doodles – and the mini flora doodles have been inked to match the larger ones and then an organza ribbon – just for a change !!!

Each section of the blue and green is matted onto some silver mirriand then the ribbon added to the egde of the paper and then a 3mm border of mirri is left – I have then matted this onto another larger piece the same as the above and then I have placed foam tape underneath to give dimension and then again on same rose tapestry card

Then different tones of the flora doodles with brads in the centre are placed across the ribbon and finally a sentiment is added – a very quick card but I like the freshness – the cd has lots of different shades so you can play about with the idea

Thanks for sharing in today`s card – Suzanne
