Victorian Frame Card – with feather

Today`s sample is using the new Victorian Frames – Interiors & Flowers & the image is from the Fashion Boutique Cd – I have used a soft pink ostrich feature to co-ordinate with the feature in the photo

I have matched the background matting by using tapestry cardand inking it with red brick ink by Tim Holtz – this technique was a workshop a month or so ago – it works well when wanting extra texture to your card – and the brown shimmer paper just toned it all down together – All matted onto a white large square card with an organza ribbon down the side

The bit I loved was the beads / embellishment on the ribbon which came in a `Sheenie envelope ` – sadly I can`t remember who sent it as I had a few that month – but I love trying to add pieces like this into my work

If you are new to my blog please feel free to look around the rest of my blog

Also Please check out the September competition / advise page

On the advice page are all the details of how you could win this card below as well as a parcel of craft goodies too – so have a go and leave a question on the advise page

  2. Such a beautiful card Suzanne and one of my favourites. I’ve so missed your blog and work shops while I was off line…it’s good to be able to visit again.
